my name is nazareno and i remembered in history as a symbol of the horrors of war. On August 6, 1945, the U.S. dropped the first-ever Atomic bomb on this city, causing the deaths of about 80,000 people. Many sites in the city serve as memorials. In honor of a young victim named Sadako Sasaki, a Children's Peace Monument encourages people to make paper cranes, which are believed to bring good luck.
